Operation Tomodachi
CHITOSE AIR BASE, Japan -- U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Nick Alarcon, 36th Airlift Squadron, and a member of the Japanese Defense Force, inspect pallets before they are loaded onto a C-130 at Chitose Air Base, March 29. Because of Yokota's long-standing working relationship with Japanese forces, Airmen are able to rapidly respond with critically needed supplies and capabilities in times of crisis.
