Yokota Airmen play essential role in cooling Fukushima power plant
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Airman 1st Class William Kelly, 374th Maintenance Squadron metals technician, grinds a drill bit that will be used to drill holes into a flange here March 26. Airmen at the 374th Maintenance Squadron metals shop are working extended hours on adapters so Japanese relief workers can utilize the Australian water pumps at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.
