YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- The Tanabata Dancers practice every Thursday night at 6:30- 8:00pm in the Taiyo Recreation Center dance room for upcoming festivals. The Yokota Tanabata Dancers were started by Masako Collins in 1973 to promote goodwill and friendship to the Japanese by joining in local summer festivities.
