The United Nations Command (Rear) change of command
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Group Captain Anthony McCormack, incoming United Nations Command (Rear) commander presents the first salute during the change of command ceremony Feb. 01. Group Captain McCormack is from the Royal Australian Air Force and this is the first time in the history of UNC (Rear) that a non-U.S. UN officer assumes command. The UNC (Rear) is composed of eight nations accredited to the United Nations Command: Australia, Canada, France, New Zealand, The Philippines, Thailand, Turkey, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain.
