2009 Friendship Festival under way
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- The Yokota Samurai and Hachioji Jinba Daiko drummers entertain festival goers Aug 22 during the first day of the two-day Yokota Air Base Japanese-American Friendship Festival Aug. 22. More than 80,000 people attended the first day. In addition to static displays and live music, the festival offered a variety of American and Japanese food items.
