Kanto Plain Special Olympics
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Koichi Yamada, from AMC Sports Club, heads down the homestretch of the 200-meter dash May 23 during the 30th Annual Kanto Plain Special Olympics at Yokota's Bonk Field. More than 100 athletes from eight local schools competed in events ranging from the standing long jump and 50-meter dash to bowling and swimming.
