Operation Christmas Drop 2014

Loadmasters belonging to 36th Airlift Squadron, 374th Airlift Wing, Yokota Air Base, Japan, watch a bundle descend towards it watery destination during Operation Christmas Drop 2014. The 374th Airlift Wing crew members distributed a total of 16 bundles to several Pacific islands on one mission as part of Operation Christmas Drop 2014. OCD, a partnership between the 374th Airlift Wing, the 36th Wing at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam and the 515th Air Mobiloty Operations Wing, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, is the longest-running Department of Defense-led humanitarian airlift operation and will provide 25 tons of critical supplies to 56 islands this year. In addition to the humanitarian assistance, OCD 14 also provides critical airdrop training for 374th AIrlift Wing personnel. (U.S. Air Force photo by Capt.
