Yokota Airmen partake in Medevac training
Airmen from the 374th Medical Group practice on-loading and off-loading simulated injured personnel from a C-130J Super Hercules, assigned to the California Air National Guard 146th Airlift Wing, during a medical evacuation training scenario at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Nov. 4, 2015. The medevac training consisted of litter carry scenarios, an obstacle course and high-deck patient loading platform vehicle training. As the Western Pacific mobility hub, Yokota Air Base will be a key location in the event of regional instability, and this exercise gives the installation a chance to test those capabilities in a realistic scenario.
