Honoring those who serve

A member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars places an American flag on a monument during the three flower ceremony at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Nov. 11, 2015. The three flowers each have a different meaning: The red rose represents those who have died in defense of their country, the white celebrates future service members and the blue immortalizes the deeds of Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines.
