Orthotics, one step at a time
Tech. Sgt. Joy Victoria, 374th Surgical Operations Squadron orthotics NCO in charge, takes polypropylene plastic inserts out of an oven at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Jan. 20, 2016. The oven needs to heat up to 400 degrees to soften the plastic to be molded into shoe inserts. Inserts can be helpful for a variety of foot ailments, including flat arches, high arches, and foot and leg pain. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman David Owsianka/Released)
