374 LRS: Putting in the hours behind air drop
Airman 1st Class Armond Smith, 374th Logistics Readiness Squadron air transportation specialist, repairs a hole inside a parachute at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Feb. 1, 2016. After parachutes are used in cargo drops, 374 LRS personnel carefully remove debris, repair damages and straighten every line. The parachutes must be properly folded and the lines must be re-packed in a specific way to perform correctly when deployed. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Elizabeth Baker/Released)
