Yokota veterinarians: taking care of those who take care of us
Capt. Amanda Hauck, Public Health Command District Japan officer in charge of the Yokota branch, examines a canine X-ray showing a wrench, screws and other items in patient’s stomach at Yokota Air Base, Japan, July 22, 2016. Tigger, a privately owned golden retriever, underwent surgery to remove the items that he ate and is recovering without complication. While the Yokota veterinary clinic’s primary mission is to keep the 374th Security Forces Squadron military working dogs in good health, they also provide medical services for Yokota’s privately owned pets.
