374th Airlift Wing and allies prepare for Operation Christmas Drop
Members of the 374th Airlift Wing from Yokota Air Base, Japan, and Japan Air Self-Defense Force 401st Squadron meet after landing at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Dec. 1, 2021. Both the 374th AW and 401st SQ will provide support to more 20,000 islanders in the Federated States of Micronesia and Republic of Palau, during Operation Christmas Drop. This event creates opportunity for the U.S. to train alongside its allies and partners in the Pacific to refine joint skillsets necessary to react quickly and efficiently during a humanitarian assistance and disaster relieve event.
