U.S., Japan Forces perform bilateral logistics training
Staff Sgt. Logan Palacpac, 374th Logistics Readiness Squadron NCO in charge mobility operations, center, and members of the Japan Air Self Defense Force, 3rd Depot, place a cargo net over a loaded shipping pallet, during a base facilities tour Dec. 15, 2021, at Yokota Air Base, Japan. The net keeps the cargo stable during transit to reduce the risk of damage as a result of movement. The tour gave JASDF members a better understanding of the logistical systems Airmen use to execute Yokota Air Base’s mission, and provided an opportunity for U.S. Air Force and JASDF members to share best practices in performing their duties.
