‘A Positive’ experience: Yokota medics revive mainland blood drive

U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Marcos Flores, Armed Services Blood Bank Center Pacific Northwest medical lab technician, takes blood from a donor during a blood drive at the Samurai Fitness Center at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Aug. 22, 2024. This blood drive helped Yokota and other bases in the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility restock blood supplies used for emergencies. Blood drive organizers also designed the event to promote readiness for forces to ensure they get the quickest and best care possible. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Jarrett Smith)
