Personnel assigned to Yokota Air Base and 9/11 Memorial Tower Run participants stand for the national anthem at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Sept. 11, 2024. Teams and individuals from Yokota along with, Fussa Fire Department, Akishima Fire Department and Inagi Fire Department took part in the 9/11 Memorial Tower Run, racing against the clock to earn awards based on their performance. This annual event honors the bravery of first responders and pays tribute to those who lost their lives from the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
