Spouses practice emergency evacuation through processing line, orientation flights

Spouses from Yokota depart a UH-1N Huey assigned to the 459th Airlift Squadron after an orientation flight at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Nov. 19, 2024. The 459th AS and 36th Airlift Squadron host orientation flights to ​​bolster morale, showcase teamwork and give members of the Yokota community a firsthand experience with the airlift mission. This iteration required participation in emergency evacuation procedures, where individuals prepare documents and items necessary to safely and quickly evacuate the area.
