Spouses practice emergency evacuation through processing line, orientation flights
Spouses from Yokota watch a C-130J Super Hercules assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron taxi on the runway after a spouse orientation flight at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Nov. 19, 2024. The 459th Airlift Squadron and 36th AS host orientation flights to bolster morale, showcase teamwork and give members of the Yokota community a firsthand experience with the airlift mission. This iteration required participation in emergency evacuation procedures, where individuals prepare documents and items necessary to safely and quickly evacuate the area.
