A U.S. Air Force Airman from the 374th Security Forces Squadron pass and registration office holds this year’s version of road tax decals and documents at Yokota Air Base, Japan, April 28, 2025. In Japan, a road tax is required for all registered vehicles and must be paid annually by May 31. The road tax rodeo at Yokota helps ensure Status of Forces Agreement members meet this deadline efficiently by offering an on-base alternative to visiting local government offices.
