Japan Ground Self-Defense Force paratroopers assigned to the 1st Airborne Brigade descend toward the drop zone during Airborne 26 at the JGSDF East Fuji Maneuver Area, Japan, March 2, 2026. The exercise integrated five U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules aircraft assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron and one U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J assigned to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 152 (VMGR-152), delivering cargo and approximately 200 JGSDF paratroopers for airdrop training.
